The kit include everything you need to use the USB 3.0 interface on both your laptop and your drive including the USB 3.0 cable, PC card laptop adapter and USB power connector. The cable features LED lights to show drive activity and offers 10x faster performance compared to USB 2.0. The GoFlex USB 3.0 cable and PC card adapter are backwards compatible with USB 2.0.
